CLIENT BACKGROUND

With almost 80 years of experience, Globus Family of Brands (encompassing Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon Waterways) is the world leader in first-class travel, providing a variety of travel styles whether fully escorted, premium, independent or river cruise holidays.

POINTS OF NOTE

The Globus head office was located at Erskine Street, Sydney. After competing against its major competitors, CR Commercial Property Group was appointed by Globus as its exclusive independent property advisor to find new premises in a complex market. It was made all the more difficult by a very complex make good clause.
CR Commercial Property Group developed a leasing strategy to fit in with Globus’ initiatives and medium term long term goals.

After a rigorous leasing campaign, CR Commercial Property Group was able to offer a solution negotiating directly with the Landlord, Dexus to new premises in Kent Street.

We successfully leased the premises which met with Globus’ expectations and included an incentive which was negotiated to cover all the fitout costs.

CR Commercial Property Group also acted as the client project manager for the design, fitout and relocation to the new premises.

THE RESULT

Globus’ rental expectations were exceeded and the fitout was completed on time and under budget.
