CR Commercial Property Group (CR) was honoured to attend the prestigious Australian Financial Review’s and Inventium’s BOSS “Most Innovative Companies” awards night alongside Dale Cleaver, CEO of Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, and their incredible team.
What a night of celebration it was! Guide Dogs NSW/ACT walked away with not one, but two well-deserved awards. They were recognized as the “Most Innovative Company – Government, Education, and Not-For-Profit” and also received the accolade for “Best Internal Innovation” for their remarkable St Leonards Office Design project.
This achievement truly reflects Guide Dogs NSW/ACT’s commitment to innovation and their dedication to reshaping the future workplace experience for their community and stakeholders. Kudos to Dale Cleaver and his exceptional team, whose vision and unwavering commitment were truly exceptional.
The journey of the St Leonards flagship office project began five years ago when CR partnered with Guide Dogs NSW/ACT to oversee every aspect of the project, from its inception to its triumphant completion.
The Guide Dogs NSW/ACT office has now become a benchmark for organisations looking to create an inclusive and inviting working environment in line with the evolving hybrid work model.
Our collaboration involved extensive consultations with clients and teams, particularly those with first hand experience, ensuring that the design represented the forefront of accessibility and flexibility.
The most rewarding recognition, however, comes from Guide Dogs NSW/ACT’s clients and employees with lived experiences. They have attested that their voices were genuinely heard, and the transformed workspace has significantly improved their daily work environment.
Let’s use this remarkable achievement as inspiration. I hope it encourages other companies to consider how they can make their spaces more accessible and inclusive, thereby enriching the working environment for individuals in this new era of work.
Remember, it can be done!
