Client Background
After CR’s triumphant completion of the Fitout and relocation project for Sonic Pathology in Grosvenor Place, Sydney, in 2022, Sonic Healthcare entrusted CR once again. This time, CR was tasked with managing and executing a refurbishment project for Sonic Healthcare’s existing Head Office space in December 2022.
Points of Interest
The objective of the project was to rejuvenate the space by improving the functionality of meeting rooms, offices, the boardroom, and the dining room to align with the evolving needs of the staff. The refurbishment encompassed significant enhancements in audio-visual (AV) and information technology (IT) systems to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration. These enhancements ensured compatibility, user-friendliness, and superior audio and visual quality.
Additionally, careful consideration was given to optimizing acoustics and lighting in the refurbished areas. Despite the limited time available during the 2022 Christmas office shutdown period, CR meticulously coordinated project planning and execution to ensure completion before employees returned to work. In the post-pandemic environment, CR adeptly navigated supply chain delays and procurement challenges to deliver the project within the allocated budget and on schedule.
