Challenge
Following significant growth accelerated by the COVID19 pandemic, Sonic Pathology required an expanded corporate headquarters colocated with Sonic Healthcare at Grosvenor Place. The brief demanded a highly coordinated, technology enabled workplace delivered in a volatile market environment.
Strategy
CR was appointed as Project Superintendent, leading workplace strategy, space planning and end to end delivery. Acting as the client’s representative, CR selected and managed the full consultant and construction team, coordinated closely with IT and AV specialists, and managed complex landlord interfaces for an integrated fitout delivered in parallel with base building works.
Outcome
Despite market disruption, CR delivered the project on time and on budget, enabling Sonic Pathology to successfully relocate in February 2022. The result is a future ready headquarters aligned to Sonic’s technologyled operating model and longterm growth trajectory.
