It was my absolute pleasure to appear on Nine’s Today Show this morning to discuss with Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo the major issue businesses and major cities are facing due to the lack of employees returning to the office.
Business Leaders need to start finding ways to encourage employees to return to the office. Unless that occurs, small businesses supplying our coffee, lunches, drycleaning, cabs will all start to disappear. There will be no mentoring to encourage the younger generation to become our next leaders and social connections and communication will become more and more unrelaxed.
CEO’s and upper management need staff to feel more valued and interact with them directly. The Power of Proximity should never be underestimated.
This is an interesting conversation to be had for every working person in Australia and I am very passionate about finding a way to entice employees back to the office.
