A professional financial services firm needed a new home, independently advised from first brief to keys in hand.
First Financial engaged CR Commercial Property Group to support the relocation of its Melbourne office, seeking a workplace that reflected the firm’s professional brand, supported its culture, and delivered a step-change in the quality of working environment for its team.
CRCPG acted as First Financial’s independent property advisor throughout, providing end-to-end advisory and project management across market review, lease negotiation, fitout delivery, and relocation. As a tenant-only advisor, every recommendation was made solely in First Financial’s commercial interest.
The new premises included a rare outdoor terrace, a genuine lifestyle differentiator that became central to the workplace brief and was secured through CRCPG’s market search process.

First Financial required a CBD office that would elevate the firm, a space that reflected its professional standing, attracted and retained talent, and provided a genuine lifestyle-quality environment that staff would want to come to every day.
The brief specifically called for an outdoor terrace, an unusual requirement in the CBD market that demanded a targeted and patient market search to identify the right building. Alongside this, the fitout needed to embed the First Financial brand clearly and consistently, from the bold glass graphics to the branded carpet detail throughout.

CRCPG led a targeted market review of Melbourne CBD office options, with outdoor terrace access identified early as a key requirement aligned to First Financials’ workplace vision. Following shortlisting and financial comparison, CRCPG negotiated lease terms directly with landlords to secure commercially favourable outcomes.
Fitout delivery was managed end-to-end. CRCPG coordinated the architect, builder, joinery fabricators, and AV suppliers, maintaining single-point accountability for programme, cost, and quality throughout. Relocation was sequenced to protect business continuity across the transition.
